Luke Busch Memorial Scholarship
The Luke Busch Memorial Scholarship was established to recognize a graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School student who has demonstrated character, integrity, diligence and service to the community during his or her public school education. The student will receive $1,000 to pay for education-related expenses during the initial year of education following high school graduation.

Charles Daniel Thomas Memorial Scholarship
The Ruth Weinard Charitable Trust funds the scholarships in memory of Charles Daniel Thomas. These scholarships will be awarded to Mahomet-Seymour High School graduating seniors. The criteria will be mixed to make these awards available to a diverse group of students.  The number and amount of scholarships  depends on funding. There are typically multiple winners of up to $1,000 to pay for education-related expenses during the initial year of education following high school graduation.

Karen Ann Welke Memorial Scholarship
The Karen Ann Welke Memorial Scholarship was established in 2006 by the Welke family in remembrance of Karen Ann Welke (1969-2005). Karen was a 1987 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School senior. The recipient will receive $500 for the first year of post-secondary education and $500 for the second year, to be awarded prior to the beginning of each school year.

Wylma K. Sizer Education Scholarship
The $500 Sizer Education Scholarship was established in memory of Wylma K Sizer in 2014 to award and assist students who wish to pursue a degree in secondary education. Any graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School student who plans to pursue a career in secondary education, 6-12, is eligible.

Mahomet Rotary Scholarship
The Mahomet Rotary Club Scholarship was established in 2004 by the Mahomet Rotary Club in order to support students who choose to pursue a post-high school education at Parkland College.  The scholarship amount will be $500 for use by the recipient to pay for expenses related to the recipient’s education at Parkland College the year following graduation from high school.

Matthew Prather Scholarship presented by Mahomet-Seymour Education Foundation 
This $1,000 scholarship recognizes a graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School student and is funded directly by the Mahomet-Seymour Education Foundation.  Students must exemplify strong character, academic achievement, and a spirit of community service.

Campion STEM Scholarship (Science Technology Engineering and Math)
This $500 scholarship recognizes a graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School student who is enrolled in a STEM field of study.

Jacob Hamilton Memorial Scholarship
The Jacob Hamilton Memorial Scholarship was established to recognize a graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School student who exhibits strong personal character and integrity, achieved academic success, demonstrated strong leadership qualities, and has been active in athletics and/or other extracurricular activities .  The student will receive $1,000 to pay for education-related expenses during the initial year of education following high school graduation.

American Legion Auxiliary, Mahomet Unit #1015 Scholarship
The American Legion Auxiliary, Mahomet Unit #1015 Scholarship  was established to recognize a graduating Mahomet-Seymour High School student who exhibits strong community service, participation in extracurricular activities, and high academic achievement.  The winner must be a relative of an American Veteran.   The student will receive $500 to pay for education-related expenses during the initial year of education following high school graduation.

Ida Haack Memorial Scholarship
The Community Foundation of Champaign County Ida Haack Memorial Scholarship to benefit Mahomet-Seymour High School Graduates was established by Mr. Otto Haack in honor of his mother. This scholarship will recognize current Mahomet-Seymour High School seniors who have demonstrated leadership, extra-curricular involvement and service to the community during their public school education.  This is also a need-based scholarship.   A maximum of three (3) scholarships will be awarded annually. 

The total amount available for the scholarships will vary from year to year and will be determined annually by the Community Foundation of Champaign County. Depending upon the recipients' educational plans, the awards will range from  two-year to four-year scholarships, distributed in two to four installments. It is anticipated  that 3 scholarships will be awarded with a minimum amount to be $1000 per year for two years.

Kathy Murphy Scholarship:
The Community Foundation of Champaign County Kathy Murphy Scholarship is for students who have participated in the performing arts in their community and who demonstrate an intention to continue that contribution, without regard to their current field of study or later profession.

Scholarships will be awarded based on three major criteria (not necessary in this order); your prior participation in the performing arts (whether on the stage or behind the scenes), your financial need and your potential for academic and/or professional success in your chosen field.
